Central Valley Medical Center is currently seeking both part-time and full time surgical technicians to join our skilled team of surgical professionals. This position assists the surgical team by acting as a primary scrub handling instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures. This position requires successful completion of an accredited OR technician program or equivalency. Candidate must be committed, dependable, work well with others under stressful conditions, and maintain flexibility in a demanding environment. 2. OR CIRCULATING RN: (position description)
Central Valley Medical Center is currently seeking both part-time and full time circulating RN's for our operating room. The circulating RN prepares the patient physically and mentally for the surgical process. He/she answers patient questions and concerns regarding surgery, and informs the patient of the rigors of surgical procedures. The circulating RN also ensures the operating room is ready for surgery and arranges all necessary instruments and equipment as required by each surgeon. Assists the surgeon and maintains control of operating room staff, monitors vital signs and manages the health condition of patients during and after surgery. This position requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Utah RN licensure. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications are also required. Two years experience in a surgery setting is desired. Flexibility in scheduling, as well as demonstrated organizational and leadership skills are essential. 3. DIETARY AID: (position description)
Central Valley Medical Center is currently seeking a part-time Dietary Aid to work in our cafeteria. Incumbent will assist with preparing a variety of food service items for patients and staff. Requires a food handler's permit. This position involves lifting and/or pushing heavy equipment and food carts. Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
